About Havana Water & Sanitation District
The Havana Water & Sanitation District is a quasi-municipal corporation and political subdivision of the State of Colorado, and was organized by order and decree in 1969. The District is governed pursuant to provisions of the Colorado Special District Act (Title 32, Article I, Colorado Revised Statutes).
HWSD is located wholly within Arapahoe County, and was established to construct, maintain and operate a wastewater collection system, with treatment provided by Metro Wastewater Reclamation District.
